Gray Markets, A Product of Demand Uncertainty and Excess Inventory
Diverting large quantities of goods from authorized distribution channels to unauthorized or “gray market” channels, albeit legal, significantly affects both firms and consumers due to effects on price, revenue, service and warranty availability, and product availability. This problem is formulated as a bi-level program for a green supply chain that produces various products with different environmental pollution levels. متن کاملRobust Inventory Routing Under Demand Uncertainty
This paper introduces a robust inventory routing problem where a supplier distributes a single product to multiple customers facing dynamic uncertain demands over a finite discrete time horizon. The probability distribution of the uncertain demand at each customer is not fully specified. The only available information is that these demands are independent and symmetric random variables which ca...
متن کاملExcess demand functions with incomplete markets - a global result
The purpose of this paper is to give a global characterization of excess demand functions in a two period exchange economy with incomplete real asset markets. We show that continuity, homogeneity and Walras’ law characterize the aggregate excess demand functions on any compact price set which maintains the dimension of the budget set. JEL classification: D52, C62.
